How it all Started...

Kees de Walle

It’s 1995: ‘I stepped on board to skipper a Sailing Boat across the Atlantic. We set sail and soon, cutting a knife edge trail through the water, I noticed the vast amount of plastic in the ocean and thought; this can’t be right, this needs to change….’

‘It’s 2022: ‘My observation in ‘95 triggered my awareness. We are reshaping our environment, sometimes for the good but often in ways we undermine our own future. I’m concerned about how we pass our planet on to our children and future generations ‘

This is where the Time2Tack journey starts. Time2Tack is a metaphor for changing  course towards a better future! We can only do this together, so please be welcome to join our team and become part of our exciting journey!

Young Talent Program

Our Young Talent program gives the generation of tomorrow a chance to shine – by showing them the ropes and allowing them space to show their ropes to us. Our goal is to grow towards a better tomorrow, together. We offer our youth a variety of active and valuable positions on our team: from diving to sailing, and even racing.

Protecting our oceans

Clean oceans are key to a healthy future for people and the planet. We focus on overfishing, marine pollution and ocean acidification. Our mission is to deliver support in bringing sustainable initiatives together. We do this by joining forces in our society, enabling sustainable transformations to become faster and better!

A future for our children

Sustainable consumption and production is about doing more and better with less. We focus on reducing waste and sustainable fishing. Current themes are recycling of paper, plastic, glass, steel and aluminum and promoting the consumption of sustainably caught fish. Climate change affects everyone, everywhere.

Sustainable sailing

We invest in sustainable sailing. Sailing as a sport contributes to valuable life skills. We create opportunities for youngsters to step on board and learn from the masters. A mixture of experience and rookiness will benefit both.
